True. After World War II, Germany was divided into East and West, with Bonn serving as the capital of West Germany (the Federal Republic of Germany) from 1949 until reunification in 1990. East Germany (the German Democratic Republic) had East Berlin as its capital. It wasn't until reunification that Berlin once again became the capital of all of Germany.
