Well first 3 x 6= 18
so multiplied by two to get your answer
18x2=36

No the answer is 36. Try plugging it into the problem. 36 divided by 2 is 18, which is 6 times 3. Then if you add (the opposite of subtracting) 3 groups of 3 (nine) from 3 multiplied by nine (27) you get 36
