Today, I gained valuable insights into volcanic activity. The molten material expelled during eruptions, known as magma when below the surface and lava when it reaches the Earth's exterior, can exhibit varying viscosities—ranging from highly viscous to more fluid forms. Volcanic eruptions can result in significant destruction; however, they also contribute positively to the environment in certain contexts, such as enhancing soil fertility and creating new landforms.
Today I learned some sick stuff about volcanoes! The hot, dangerous stuff comes outta the top where it sometimes goes boom! The red stuff can be sticky or runny. These things cause lotsa damage. But they can help out sometimes, too. Revise the sentences so that they could be used in a report for this course. Be sure to remove any informal language and use jargon where appropriate.
