I do not think the 1/2 cup has anything to do with this problem. It just happens that your amounts, the 16 g, 17 g, and 5 g fit in the half cup.
I will just have to believe you about kilocal per gram for each type of poison.
to calulate the calories(kcal) in 1/2 cup of soft ice cream that contains 16g carbs, 17g fat, 5g protein.
do I multiply
16g x 4 for carbs
17g x 9 for fat
5g x 4 for proteins?
then do I do conversion factors for
grams to 1/2cup? am I on the right road?
