This might sound a bit dumb but am really stuck :L

i need help to answer a question and i need someone to explain to me how to do it
Multiply out the brackets and collect the terms.
(2y-3)(ysqaured + 4y -1)

Multiply the stuff in the second set of parentheses by 2y to obtain:
y^2*2y + 4y*2y -1*2y = 2y^3+8y-2y

Then multiply the same stuff by -3 as I did above, and collect terms.
