A calculator will tell you that it is:
1.772453851...
It is an irrational number, so the string of numbers after the decimal point never ends and does not repeat.
This isn't a homework or scool question, or anything like that, so please don't try to rush this, it's not that important... but what is the square root of pi???

Why is this extremely hard? π is just a number, like 34 or 1.5, which has no exact square root. It's just that π is so important that it has been given a symbol of its own. Lots of other numbers have their own names, and very few of them have exact roots either.
