What excerpt?
"our judges are as honest as other men, and not more so. They have, with others the same passion for party, for power, and the privilege of their corpse (group of people) .....and their power more dangerous as they are in office for life and not responsible, as the other functionaries are, to the elective control.

GUYS ITS CORRECT! I just took the Unit 4 test, and got 23/23.

Just paraphrase this really well for the essay answer:

John Adams failed to obtain a second term because of how poorly his first term went. He passed some controversial laws and even declared the "Quasi War", an undeclared naval war with France. He was also facing Thomas Jefferson, a very popular candidate at the time. Lousy president didn't do much to help us and even had politician war with Thomas Jefferson.

If you want to see if you did well enough paraphrasing copy and paste it into google/bing/yahoo and see if what i posted shows up, if it does then keep paraphrasing it.
