I was attending a multicultural event at my university, and I noticed a woman wearing a cross necklace approaching me. As a Muslim, I felt a bit uneasy at first, not knowing how she would react to my hijab. But to my surprise, she smiled warmly and extended her hand in greeting.

We exchanged small talk, and I soon learned that she was a Christian missionary. Instead of feeling threatened or defensive, I decided to approach our conversation with an open mind. We talked about our respective faiths, sharing stories and traditions with each other.
