there was 3/4 of a pizza left over from a family gathering. The next day, Tina ate 1/2 of what was left. How much of the whole pizza did Tina eat?

5 answers

(1/2)(3/4) = 3/8
the answer is 3/8 because u are muliplying 1/2 and 3/4 and 1×3 is 3 and 2×4 is 8 3/8
It's not 3/8 because it's said how much of the whole pizza did Tina eat not how much of the 3/4
as it shows the 1/2 and the 3/4 you right away think that you have multiply the to fractions together.
Ex: 1 x 3 =3
2 x 4 =8
When you do the math it intern gives you 3/8 for your answer.
If Brad ate 3/4 of a pizza how many peices would be left?
