They exchanged skeptical glances, shaking their heads. Still, that didn’t dampen my spirit! I was bound and determined to show them I could be responsible enough for this furry friend, and I refused to give up. After all, I mattered in this decision, and I was ready to prove how much joy a puppy would bring to our family!
