Just taking the few possible cases: digits must add up to 13 and be between 63 and 89, so .....
67, 76, and 85. Which has the tens digit greater than the unit digit??
well, that was easy.
FORMAL WAY:
tens digit --- x
unit digit ---- 13-x
value of number = 10x + 12-x = 9x + 12
63 < 9x+12 < 89
subtract 12
51 < 9x < 77
divide by 9
5.66.. < x < 8.55...
so x could be 6, 7, or 8
So the number could be 67, 76, or 85
but the tens digit is more than the unit digit
So the number is 85
The total number of my digits is 13. I'm between 63 & 89.my tens digit is more than my once digit. Who am i?
