1/6 times 4/5 = ??
Suppose the lot had an area of 60 sq ft.
Then 4/5 x 60 = 48 sq ft for tomatoes.
and 1/6 x 48 = 8 sq ft for cherry tomatoes. So We have 40 sq ft for ordinary tomatoes, 8 sq ft for cherry tomatoes, and the ratio of cherry tomatoes to the total space is 8/60 or 2/15. OR
1/6 x 4/5 = 4/30 = 2/15 without assuming value for area of the lot. Check my thinking.
Thanks for helping me understand the problem.
