Once upon a time, there were three little pigs who set out to seek their fortunes. The first little pig was lazy and preferred to play all day rather than work. So, he decided to build a house of straw, thinking it would be quick and easy.
The second little pig was a bit more diligent but still wanted a house that could be built quickly. He chose to build his house out of sticks, believing it would be sturdy enough to protect him.
The third little pig, however, was determined to build a strong and secure house. He worked tirelessly and used bricks, knowing that it would withstand any danger that might come their way.
As time went by, a big and bad wolf caught wind of the three little pigs and their houses. Hungry and with mischief in his mind, the wolf went to the first little pig's straw house and asked him to come out.
The first little pig, terrified by the wolf's presence, refused to leave his fragile house. The wolf, filled with rage, huffed and puffed until the straw house collapsed, leaving the first little pig with nowhere to hide. The pig managed to escape and ran to his brother's house made of sticks.
Feeling confident, the two pigs thought the wolf wouldn't be able to destroy their slightly sturdier house of sticks. But they were wrong. The wolf blew and blew until he huffed and puffed the house down, just like the straw house before.
Once again, the two surviving pigs ran for their lives and took refuge in their brother's house. This time, the wolf couldn't destroy the house made of bricks. He tried and tried with all his might, but the sturdy bricks held their ground.
The three little pigs, safe inside the brick house, were relieved but wary of the wolf lurking outside. The wolf, realizing he couldn't break in, took off in defeat, never to be seen again.
From then on, the three little pigs understood the importance of hard work and resilience. They lived happily ever after in their strong brick house, never to be bothered by the big bad wolf again.
