So like, way back when Muhammad died, the Muslim community kind of split into two groups. The majority of Muslims in most countries are called Sunni Muslims, except in Iraq and Iran. The split was like, not super violent or anything, because the Shi'ites didn't win the whole "who's gonna be in charge of the Muslim world" competition way back then.
