For this research project, the primary research method used was conducting an interview with the Tswelopele res former Human rights ambassador, who works closely with Dr Claire Westman. Due to the unavailability of Dr Claire Westman for an interview, the Tswelopele res former Human rights ambassador was considered a suitable alternative due to their close working relationship with Dr Westman.
The interview was conducted using open-ended questions to allow for a detailed and comprehensive discussion about their involvement in the anti-gender-based violence campaign and their perspectives on the movement. Before the interview, ethical considerations were made to ensure the confidentiality and privacy of the interviewee. The interviewee also requested that their identity not be shared in the research.
