The Rosana family decided to put in a patio and a garden in their backyard.
The next part shows a rectangle with a base of 8 and height of 4. It also has about 1/3 of the rectangle shaded and is labeled "Garden"
I tried multiplying 4 x 8, then dividing by 3, because the triangle looks about 1/3, and got 10.6. I don't know if that is correct.
I need to find the area of the garden and patio. Please help.
