So what I did was add 2 and 5 which is 7 in total so I answered as 7 marbles, but it wasn't right. I'm not really sure what I should do, do I add the ratio for white marbles to blue marbles or ???

What you should do is read the problem carefully. It states that there are more than 50 marbles in the bag.

So, what is the smallest multiple of 7 that is greater than 50?

Must be 56.
