LCM(8,6) = 24, so
f:c:w = 9:24:20
3/4 / 9 = 1/12, so dividing by 12, we have
9/12 : 24/12 : 20/12 = 3/4 : 2 : 5/3
So, 2c oil and 5/3 c water
