Hi january,
Dalton's Law of partial pressures states that P(total) = P(1) + P(2) + P(3) +....+ P(n) where 1, 2 and 3 are gases in the mixture.
So applying the law 150kPa = 100kPa + 24kPa + P(oxygen)
Hope I helped! (:

the pressure of a mixture of nitrogen, carbon dioxide and oxygen is 150 kPa.Wat is the partial pressure of oxygen if the partial pressures of the nitrogen and carbon dioxide are 100 kPa and 24 kPa,respectively?
