Town A:
1500 - 1346 = 154
154 / 1346 = 0.114 = 11.4%
Figure out the increase for Town B the same way.
The population of town A increases from 1,346 to 1,500. In the same period, the population of town B increases from 1,546 to 1,800.
a. Find the percent of increase in population for town A and for town B.

Could You Help Me ?
Eric, you take the population each town went up to, subtract it with the original population, then divide your answer with the original population, and that is your percentage. Hope that helps bud :)
So you would take 1,800-1,546. whatever you get for that, divide it by 1.546. then whatever you get is your percentage.
So it would be 164.9%???
no it will be 16.4% that's pretty easy to figure out.
