The odometer on a car shows 26962 km. Notice that this number is a palindrome. After the car has travelled two hours at a constant rate, the odometer shows the next possible palindromic number. How fast is the car travelling?

Assuming a normal speed of about 100 Km/h
the number has to be only about 200 more
26962 + 200 = 27162
since the 2 leading digits can't change, it could only be
27172
The difference is 210 km, which would be a speed of 105 km/h, which is very reasonable

The next palindrome is 27072. So
27072-26962 = 110
So 110km/2h
So 55km/h
27072-26962 = 110
So 110km/2h
So 55km/h

Next plaindrome is 27072
27072-26962=110
110km/2h
27072-26962=110
110km/2h
