How many moles of P4O10 is in 14.2 grams?
Of that, wouldnt 10/14 of that be O, and 5/14 of that O2?
Check my thinking.

there is .05 moles of P4O10 in 4.2 g, so then there will be 5/14 of O2, right? but wouldn't the ratio be 5 to 2? I'm confused :(

No the ratio of O2 to P is 5:4 Balance the reaction equation of P and O2 to verify.
