How many moles of P4O10 is in 14.2 grams?
Of that, wouldnt 10/14 of that be O, and 5/14 of that O2?
Check my thinking.
the number of moles of O2 needed to produce 14.2g of P4O10 from P?

there is .05 moles of P4O10 in 4.2 g, so then there will be 5/14 of O2, right? but wouldn't the ratio be 5 to 2? I'm confused :(
No the ratio of O2 to P is 5:4 Balance the reaction equation of P and O2 to verify.
so the answer would be .0625 mol of O2, right?
