The mass of a density bottle is 20 grams when empty to 70 grams when full of water and 55 grams when full of a second liquid x .Calculate the density of liquid ?

1 answer

Well, the mass of the second liquid is 35 grams, compared to the mass of water (same volume) of 50 grams.
density water= masswater/volume or
volume=masswater/densitywater
But this is true for the second liquid also
volume=massliquid/densityliquid
setting volume=volume
massliquid/densityliquid=masswater/densitywater
or
densityliquid/densitywater=massliquid/masswater= 35/50
