The island of Spitsbergen is in the attic ocean near the North Pole. Fossils of tropical fruits have been found in coal deposits in Spitsbergen. What does this indicate?

Coal means trees grew there. Fruit in it means the weather was tropical. Either the weather was much warmer or the island moved north. The first is far more likely.
