The cat purrs contentedly in his arms
As the gentle waves lap at their feet
The giant smiles at the vast expanse of charms
That the ocean and sand create, so sweet
They walk in silence, enjoying the peace
As the seagulls fly overhead
The giant's worries and troubles cease
In this moment, with nothing to dread
As the sun begins to sink below the horizon
The giant picks up his pace
Knowing it's time to head back, for all is done
But grateful for this peaceful place
Hand in hand, the giant and his cat
Make their way back home
Feeling grateful for where they're at
In this world, where they're free to roam
And as they watch the stars come out to play
They know they'll be back again another day.
The giant walks along the beach
He takes his cat along with him
But careful he is to make sure each
