the formula for finding the surface area of a cube is A=6s with 2 at the corner where s is to the lengh of one side of the cube. what is the volume of the cube with side lengh of one half inches?

1 answer

why bother with the area stuff (by the way, it's A=6s^2), when you want the volume?

v = s^3 = (1/2)^3 = 1/8

"6s with 2 at the corner" is gibberish
