I would strongly suggest you actually do the plotting and see what turns up.
Surely you know how to plot points, and know the names of the different triangles.
The following points are plotted on a coordinate plane:(-1,2),(-1,7), and (4,2). If the points are connected by straight lines, which shape will they form?
A. an acute triangle*****
B. a right triangle
C. an obtuse triangle
D. a quadrilateral
Am i right??
thanks

i tried
it didn't make sense
Makes a lot of sense to me.
Without even graphing it, did you notice
that for the points (-1,2),(-1,7), and (4,2)
the first two have the same x of -1, so they form a vertical line, and
for the first and the last, they have the same y, so they form a
horizontal line.
