The flow rate of a liquid through a 2.0cm radius pipe is 0.0080 m^3/s. the average fluid in the pipe is?

i know that Av=volume flow rate
for this problem the flow rate is 0.008m^3/s. Do i divide by the radius^2 to get velocity or is there someother equation im supposed to be using

Volume flow rate Q (which is 0.0080 m^3/s in your case) is always equal to the product of fluid velocity and the cross sectional area of the flow. In this case that area is pi*r^2, where r is the pipe radius.
Therefore V = Q/(pi r^2)
6.4 m/s
0.64
6.4
