well, not steppe. That is more central asia.
not C., Southeast Asia has jungles but not South West
It is not all desert. Mesopotamia and the Levant have reasonable climates and the Niles valley is not desert.
That leaves me pretty much with A. The Nile water flows in from central Africa and I can not think of rainy countries is the area of interest.
The entire region of Northern Africa and Southwest Asia is dominated by
A. climates in which the evaporation exceeds precipitation.
B. desert climates.
C. climates in which rainfall is either abundant or all but entirely absent.
D. steppe climates.
