WELL ITS NOT THE FIRST 1 OR THE LAST 1 BECAUSE THEY'RE OUTSIDE THE LIMITS OF THE EQUATION.
THEREFORE IT COULD ONLY BE $60.78 OR $66.60.
ADD UP THE DIGITS AND SEE WHICH ONE IS 18
The cost of some software is between $60 and $70. The sum of the digits is 18. Which of these amounts could be the price of the software? And why? $57.80, $60.78, $66.60, $76.50

Chae is right, but there is no equation. (Equations need an = sign.) $57.80 and $76.50 are outside the indicated range of costs. Only one of the two remaining prices will have their digits add up to 18.
I hope this helps a little more.
