just multiply all the coordinates by the dilation factor: 2
V(6,2) -> V'(12,4)
and so on
The coordinates of quadrilateral VWXY are given below. Find the coordinates of its image after a dilation with the given scale factor.
V(6, 2), W(–2, 4), X(–3, –2), Y(3, –5), scale factor of 2
Please help!!!!

how to find the scale factor when not given one HELP THIS IS MY MATH HOMEWORK & ITS DUE FIRDAY 4-12-13:-0
V 12 4
w -4 8
x -6 -4
y 6 -10
w -4 8
x -6 -4
y 6 -10
I don't even know what this answer is.
Instead of trying to find the answer, from another student. Figure it out. If the scale factor is 2. Then by taking the first coordinate (V(6,2), just multiply each of the numbers by 2. You're final answer is: V(12,4)
Got it? If you need extra help just ask.

Look man sum of y’all need to understand we are stressed and are struggling we have a lot going on at home personally and school on top of that and like we come here to get answers so we don’t fail and then get cussed at or sum so y’all to good for any body people need to realize sim need it we are not cheating
Nobody’s even cussing tho- 😒🙄😐
I just wanted to finish the meme above me
Why are we still here? JUST TO SUFFER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
bro someone help me idk how to find the f ing scale factor im so stressedddddd
there's a good youtube video about dilations btw
To multiply each nuber by to like 6 is 12 and 2 is 4. Or -2 is -4 and 4 is 8
I understand now
You have to multiply the coordinates by 2, so the answer is:
V(12,4)
W(-4,8)
X(-6,-4)
Y(6,-10
V(12,4)
W(-4,8)
X(-6,-4)
Y(6,-10
