Don't be so harsh student..=)
how
ok, here is my answer...:
If the ordered pair has opposite signs, that means that the pair could either be in quadrant 1, or quadrant 4.
sure
if they had opposite signs they would be in quadrants 2 or 4 not 1 or 4 because if they were in quadrant 1 they would both be positive
the answer is : quadrant 3
They must lie in quadrants 2 and 4, In quadrant 1 both the y and x-coordinates are both positive so that cannot be it. In quadrant 2 the y-coordinate is positive and the x-coordinate is negative so that is correct. In quadrant 3 both the y and x-coordinates are negative so that is wrong. in quadrant 4 the y-coordinate is negative and the x-coordinate is positive which means that is correct.

Here is my answer if you use it don't copy word for word that could get you the reader in trouble as well as me. Good luck.

If you are a student here from Inspire CA, then you are CHEATING. Teachers DO come here to check (I am a teacher at this school). You will be caught, there will be consequences.
Sad
explain how you know that an ordered pair[x,y] will be in the first quadrant
I'm still so confused....
In which part are you still confused?
