Compare and contrast your abilities as an academic writer now as opposed to when you began at Axia College. Using four comparatives and four superlatives within your responses, explain what has led to these changes and what changes you will make in the future.
When I first started Axia College, my writing skills were terrible. Although my writing skills were never the <best> but the two years I took off school did not help. However, since I have started Axia College, especially this class, my writing skills have got (better). Before I started college, my writing had lots of fragments, subject verb agreement problems, and too many pronouns. Now that I am in college, I use more concise pronouns as well as nouns. I also proofread my writing more that makes me (more effective) with finding fragments and subject verb agreement problems. I am still not the <smartest> person when it comes to grammar. However, I do have a better understanding of grammar since I have been in this class. In the future, I am hoping that I will have< most> of the grammar rules memorized and using them in my writing. By being able to memorize the grammar, rules writing in a formal setting will less (scarier) for me. I am also hoping that I do not run into problems with fragments and subject verb agreements again after I am out of school. I am going to spend (more time) on proofreading to ensure that I am making (fewer) mistakes. The <most important> thing I can do is remember to always proofread, I can fix most of my mistakes by taking things slow and remembering the grammar rules, I was taught.
