The book that Rudy chose to read for his book report has 198 pages. He can read 9 pages in 15 minutes, but he takes a 5 minute break every half hour. Rudy begins reading at 8 am. What time that day will he finish reading the 198 pages?

assuming that he reads for 25 min and rests for 5 min,
he reads 9(25/15) = 15 pages every half hour
198/15 = 13 remainder 3
so, he reads for 13 half-hours = 6:30
plus an extra :05 for the last 3 pages.
8:00 + 6:35 = 2:35 pm
Note that if the 5-min break occurs during the first 3 minutes of the half-hour, his end time will be increased by 5 minutes to 2:40 pm
