Find table in the back of your statistics text labeled something like "areas under normal distribution" to find the proportion/probability related to the Z score. Is it greater or smaller than .05?
The Average Score in the entrance examination in MSHS is 80 with a standard deviation of 40 students was taken from this year’s examinees and it was found to have a mean score of 84.
