The angle between an incident ray and the mirror is 30 degrees What is the angle of incidence? What is the angle of reflection? What is the total angle turned by the ray?

If the angle the ray makes with the mirror surface is 30 degrees, the angle of incidence (measured compared to the normal) is 60 degrees. The angle of reflection is equal to that, but is on the other side of the normal. Add them for the total angle turned.

Angle of reflection=30 degree
Total angle turned=60 degree
