Thank you very much.

As for my project, I translate the presentation of the school literally (without changing any single word). I I think we should shorten sentences and choose more appropriate words.

1) The scientific high school …… was founded in 1969.
It currently has a number of 720 students coming from the town and the surrounding territory.
2) At present the school offers its students three formative (educational?) branches.
3) The scientific branch focuses on the study of the relationship between the scientific culture and the classical tradition.
4) It favours the acquisition of the knowledge(s) and methods peculiar to Mathematics, Physics and Natural Sciences.
5) It leads the student to investigate and develop the abilities and mature (?? Complete) the necessary competencies to follow the development of the scientific and technological research and to identify the interactions between different forms of human knowledge, ensuring the mastery of the languages, of the techniques and of the relevant methodologies, also through the laboratory practice.
6) The second branch “applied sciences” gives the student particularly advanced competences in the studies concerning the scientific-technological culture with particular reference to mathematical, physical, biological and IT sciences and their applications.
