Say Aarons age = 2A years
Therefore, Half of Aarons age = A years
Therefore, Tanya's age = A+10
2A + A+10 = 55
3A + 10 = 55
3A + 10 -10 = 55 - 10
3A = 45
A = 15.
Therefore, Tanya is 15 + 10 = 25 years old.
(Aaron is 2 x 15 = 30 years old)
Therefore, Half of Aarons age = A years
