the actual subtraction part is easy: it's two factions being subtracted, which can only be done if they have the SAME denominator. So... the common denominator for the new fraction will be

(b^2 - f^2)(b + f)

the numerator is

(10bf)*(b + f) - (b - f)*(b^2 - f^2)

the new fraction is

(10bf)*(b + f) - (b - f)*(b^2 - f^2)
-----------------------------------
(b^2 - f^2)(b + f)
