type it this way ...
f(x) = (x-2)/(x+1)
domain: looks like we could use any x , except x=-1
x-intercept, let y = 0
so x=2
y-intercept , let x = 0
so y = -2
clearly vertical asymptote, (note spelling) is x = -1
horizontal, mentally look at what happens to
(x-2)/(x+1)
does it not approach 1 ?
However, are you above or below 1 for large + x's
