One example of a religion that has sexist views is Islam. In Islam (COMMA) men and women are equal in the sight of Allah. Although this is the belief (COMMA) men and women are not treated completely equally. For example (COMMA) in Islam they believe that it is the duty of a man to provide the money for his family, whereas a woman’s duty is to look after the home and family. However Islam isn’t completely sexist, women do have the right to choose the person they marry, they can get a divorce, they can get an education, own a property and are allowed to take part in politics. (HOW ABOUT HOW THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DRESS OR THEIR FREEDOM TO GO OUT IN PUBLIC ALONE IN SOME ISLAMIC COUNTRIES?)
Islam isn’t the only religion which has sexist views, Judaism also has them. In Judaism (COMMA) the Jewish bible (The Tenakh) describes and teaches different roles for men and women. Traditionally women were seen as a motherly figure. They have children, look after the home and take responsibility for their children’s Jewish upbringing. Also in Orthodox services (COMMA) men and women have to sit in separate parts of the Synagogue. Women cannot take an active part in the worship. However (COMMA) women are allowed to get an education and also have a career.
Christianity is an example of a religion that isn’t ("AS"?) sexist (COMMA) as it teaches that everyone is equal in the eyes of God. This is true (COMMA) as women are allowed to become priests and ministers, ("BUT"?) some Christians believe that women are not as important as men. They also believe that men should be the leaders and women should follow. In a Roman Catholic Church (COMMA) they do not allow women to be priests.
Although some religions are sexist (COMMA) not all religions are.

Your Christian sexist comments are odd. Women and girls face pressure (to not talk in church, or in the presence of men, to do housework, and men be leaders in the home and church).
But my main thought is that perhaps it is not so much sexism in religion as sexism in culture is the differences, and religion is just a small part of culture.
