Someone please help me solve this equation for y. (x^2)(y^2)+xy=1 I need to solve for y so that i can graph it!
y^2 + y/x - 1/x^2 = 0
Treat 1/x as b and -1/x^2 as c in the quadratic equation ax^2 + bx + c = 0
There are two solutions
y = [-1/x + sqrt(1/x^2 + 4/x^2)]/2
and
y = [-1/x - sqrt(1/x^2 + 4/x^2)]/2
