solve using the elimination method

-2x+3y=5
2x-y=1

x+y=6
x-y=4

1 answer

first one:
add them,
2y = 6
y = 3
sub into the 2nd: (could have used the 1st, makes no difference)
2x - 3 = 1
2x = 4
x = 2
so x=2, y=3

do the 2nd one by adding them, follow my example
