Solve the system of linear equations using the substitution method.

3x + 3y = 0
-6x + 9y = -10

3 answers

My answer to the above system is (2/3, -2/3). Am I right?
x + y = 0
so
y = - x
then
-6 x + 9 (-x) = -10
- 15 x = -10
x = 2/3
then
y = - x = -2/3
So Yes
