solve the system of equations:4x - 3y equals 14 and y equals -3x plus 4 i think its either 1(4,10) (2,2)

2 answers

Since 4x - 3y = 14 and y = -3x + 4,
4x - 3(-3x +4) = 14
13 x = 26
x = 2

I don't agree with any of your y values. What is the 1 by itself supposed to represent?
drwls sorry its suppose to be written like this 1( -4, -10) ,(2,2) the one but when i did the equation agin i so confused that i got another answer it could also be (5,2)
