Add 16 to both sides.

5h - 9 + 16 = 6h

5h + 7 = 6h

Subtract 5h from both sides

5h - 9 = -16 + 6h
subtract 5 h from both sides

- 9 = - 16 + 1 h
add 16 to both sides

7 = h
