Solve for x: x + 6 = 5(2x - 2)

Answers to choose from, these are all fractions.
A. 8/9
B. 16/9
C. -4/9
D. -14/9

Can someone please help me with this because when I saw the fractions I completely freaked!

x + 6 = 5(2x - 2)

x + 6 = 10x - 10
6 + 10 = 9x
16 = 9x
16/9 = x
