solve for x

32^x+5=16^2x+1

1/2log(x+2)=2

sqrt(2x-3)-2=5

1 answer

I have a feeling you meant,
32^(x+5) = 16^(x+1) and will solve it according to that
2^(5(x+5)) = 2^(4(2x+1))
then
5(x+5) = 4(2x+1)
5x + 25 = 8x + 4
21 = 3x
x = 7

second one:
log(x+2) = 4
x+2 = 10^4
etc

last one, add 2 to both sides, then square both sides, it is easy
