Solve for B: P.S. How do you solve for variables? Show your work.

3V=4(pi)a^2(b)

I would truly appreciate it, if you helped! ^-^

To solve for a variable, you just use algebraic operations to isolate it on one side of the equation, with everything else on the other side.

The key to doing this is to remember that if an equation is true, doing the same thing to both sides of the equation leaves it still true.

3V = 4 pi a^2 b

divide by 4

3V/4 = pi a^2 b

divide by pi

3V/(4pi) = a^2 b

divide by a^2

3V/(4pi*a^2) = b
