well, geez - start substituting!
y=z+1
x=-3z+6, so
(-3z+6)+2(z+1)+z=14
Now just solve for z, then you can get x and y.
Solve by the system of equations by substitution.
x + 2y + z = 14
y = z + 1
x = -3z + 6
Anyone able to help me with this? I've been stuck on it all day and can't seem to solve it, it doesn't make any sense to me.
